Volunteer - Book Reviewers
The volunteer reviewer listens to the book narrator's recording to ensure that the artistic and technical quality adheres to established standards. The reviewer is a full participant in the quality assurance procedures of master recording production. The reviewer works under the direction of the volunteer coordinator who assigns tasks, and provides guidance with projects.
To be a reviewer you must be able to commit to volunteer at least once a week for 1 1/2 hours. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the volunteer coordinator for more information.
Requirements:
Good vision and be able to listen effectively.
Good command of the American English language, particularly pronunciation, grammar and usage.
Ability to use a dictionary and other reference materials.
Ability to operate recording equipment.
Also must be willing to have fun!
